The civil war in Yemen has created an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. 24 million people are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance, over 80% of the population.

Over 1 million people have been displaced and fighting has decimated ports of entry, preventing food from being imported and resulting in dramatic price hikes. Many of those who are in danger of starvation or contracting life threatening illnesses are children under the age of 5.

IDRF is currently providing the following relief efforts: Food Delivery of food parcels containing essential, nutritious food including wheat flour, rice, sugar, milk powder, oil, biscuits and chickpeas will be distributed to families and will provide enough food for approximately 2 months.

Water Provision of potable water through the installation of solar water wells, providing for the immediate needs of internally displaced persons Health IDRF will operate an ambulance between Lahj and Abian camps to Alosra hospital to ensure safe passage of civilians in need of urgent medical care.
